R 4: inc, 3 sc, inc, ch, turn (7)
R 5-8: 7 sc, ch, turn (4 rows)

Do not cut the yarn. Crochet will continue.
Make 2 with brown yarn:

Fold the ear and crochet 3 sc through both sides across.
