EYES
place safety eyes in rnd 8 (6 sts in between both safety eyes)
ARMS
sew arms in rnd 12 (6 sts in between both arms)
LEGS
sew legs in rnd 18 (5 sts in between both legs)
NOSE
sew nose vertically from rnd 6 to rnd 9 (middle of eyebrows to middle of moustache)
BLUSH
using pink yarn, sew blush next to eye in rnd 9 (sew 1 st long horizontally 2 times)
EYEBROWS
using black yarn strand (2 ply), sew eyebrows in rnd 6 (sew 3 sts long horizontally, 4 sts between both eyebrows)
MOUSTACHE
using black yarn strand (2 ply), sew moustache from rnd 9 (next to nose) to rnd 10 (sew 4 sts long diagonally 2 times)
HAIR
sew 1st hair from rnd 6 to rnd 8 sew 2nd hair from rnd 8 to rnd 10 sew 3rd hair from rnd 10 to rnd 11 sew 2 sts for upperside and 2 sts for 2nd dc in horizontal sides and sew 2 sts for both vertical sides, leave the rest of hair curled up (12 sts in between both hair)
HAT
place hat with first st of last round’s hat meets first st of nutcracker’s head in rnd 6, sew hat to head using tail of hat
BUTTONS
using yellow yarn strand (3 ply), make 2 french knots as buttons on rnd 14 and rnd 15, sew buttons in front body (4 sts in between both knots, 4 french knots in total) using yellow yarn strand (2 ply), sew line between french knots on rnd 14 and rnd 15 (sew 4 sts long horizontally, 2 lines in total)
BELT BUCKLE
using yellow yarn, sew belt buckle in the middle of belt (sew 3 sts long horizontally and 1 st long vertically)
