Hello…
One of the free amigurumi crochet patterns we will share today is the amigurumi turtle, whose photos and design belong to tillysome. You can learn how to crochet these turtle using the free amigurumi pattern. A 2 mm hook is necessary for our amigurumi, which can be done very easily by someone with basic knowledge. \

Materials
• 2 mm crochet hook,
• 2 different yarns calling for 2 mm hook (white and blue),
• some red yarn for making the mouth,
• 2 black safety amigurumi eyes,
• soft stuffing,
• tapestry needle.
Abbreviations
ch = chain (s)
rnd(s) = round (s)
sc = single crochet
sl st = slip stitch
Also: If you prefer to work continiously, you should use a stitch marker. But if not, you should do 1 ch in the beginning of each round and close each round with a sl st (I used to work this way). Lets start.
Head
color 1 (white)
Start with the magic ring with 6 sc – 1rnd.
2 rnd: 2 sc in next sc (12)
3 rnd: [1 sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc] x 4 times (16)
4 rnd: 1 sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next 6 sc, 1 sc in next 5 sc (22)
5 rnd: 1 sc in each next sc (22)
6 rnd: 1 sc in each next sc (22)
7 rnd: 1 sc in next 5 sc, [sc2 tog] x 6 times, 1 sc in next 5 sc (16)
8 rnd: 1 sc in each next sc (16)
9 rnd: [1 sc in next 2 sc, sc2tog] x 4 times (12)
10 rnd: 1 sc in next sc (12)
11 rnd: 1 sc in next sc (12)
12 rnd: [1 sc in next sc, sc2tog] x 4 times (8)
13 to 15 rnds: 1 sc in each next sc (8) – total 3 rnds
Fasten off.
Finishing the head:
1. Place eyes centered between rnds 4 and 5, in a distance about 1/3 of all circle.
2. Make the mouth with some red yarn (centered between rnds 5 and 6,
width of mouth is about 2 sc).
3. Stuff the head generally at the top, reducing the filling on the bottom.
